Introducing Wildflower

For those that don’t know, Wildflower is a pivotal chapter in my slow fashion journey, intricately linked with the broader narrative of Marigold. In the summer of '99, I opened The Artichoke - more than just a store; it embodied the essence of my evolving passion for style, quality, and affordability.

During the years of operation, I opened my own closet to share with others, curating a selection of carefully chosen pieces that resonated with the bohemian chic aesthetic. The store, open exclusively on Saturdays, became a platform for my exploration of fashion, with my children by my side, actively contributing to the unique atmosphere. The decision to close The Artichoke was a strategic shift driven by a desire to be present and hands-on with my children.

As I continue to create clothing, The Artichoke's legacy persists—a testament to my commitment to providing beautiful, thoughtfully curated pieces at a reasonable price. This is not just a story about a store; it's a chapter in the slow fashion movement, where each piece carries the imprint of careful consideration and a dedication to sustainable, stylish choices.

In this new chapter, the Artichoke is now known as Wildflower. Stay tuned for pop-up dates from now through June 1!
